On December 9, NBA insider Sam Amick appeared on FanDuel TV’s Run It Back and called Ballmer’s strategy a “borderline insane addiction”. The Clippers have struggled on the court, with injuries to Kawhi Leonard and James Harden, as well as their high salaries, failing to deliver wins.
Amick explained, “I don’t understand why they won’t start a rebuild by trading Kawhi Leonard and/or James Harden. Steve has got this inexplicable, borderline insane addiction to this group.”
