The village of Hobart has cited for the Hobart Inn for electrical issues and deemed the building unsafe, forcing displacement of its residents this week.

Village Clerk Katherine Sparkes said Monday, Dec. 8 that there were 12 residents in the building located at 645 Main St., along with many pets like cats, dogs and a guinea pig. She said the electrical system at the property was inspected Monday, Dec. 1.
