Despite a career game from Shedeur Sanders on Sunday, Pro Football Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe thinks he should see the bench for the rest of the season.
Sanders threw for 364 yards and recorded four total touchdowns (three passing, one rushing) in the Cleveland Browns’ 31-29 home loss to the Tennessee Titans. If not for a horrific play call by Kevin Stefanski at the end of the game, Sanders might have led his team to victory.
The Cleveland offense has enjoyed a nice spark under Sanders. They only exceeded 20 points once in their first 10 games. Over Sanders’ first three starts, they’ve scored 24-plus points twice.
During the latest episode of the “Nightcap” podcast that he co-hosts with Chad Ochocinco, Shannon Sharpe suggested that Shedeur Sanders be benched for the Browns’ final four
