The cause of death for Mitt Romney’s sister-in-law, Carrie Elizabeth Romney, has been revealed.

The Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office announced via a press release on Tuesday, December 8, that Carrie Elizabeth died due to “blunt traumatic injuries.”

According to the medical examiner, Carrie Elizabeth was injured “after falling from the rooftop of a parking structure” outside of Los Angeles. Her death was ruled a suicide. She was 64 years old.
