A two-week investigation led by Vancouver police has resulted in the arrest of a suspect who is now charged with murder.
The VPD homicide unit launched the case after a 45-year-old man was assaulted by a stranger near Gore Avenue and Powell Street at about 3 a.m. on Nov. 28.
Mark Andrew Rosa, a 45-year-old resident of the Downtown Eastside, died of his injuries.
Investigators identified a suspect who was arrested Sunday evening near Main Street and Terminal Avenue.
Korey Robert Muskett, 33, has now been charged with second-degree murder. He is in custody.
