Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman Ben Cleveland has been suspended by the NFL for three games without pay for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.
Cleveland will miss the Ravens’ next three games against the Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers. He will be eligible to return for Baltimore’s regular season finale at the Pittsburgh Steelers in week 18.
With his three-game suspension, Cleveland will forfeit about $194,000 of his $1.17 million base salary, according to Pro Football Talk .
Cleveland, 27, pleaded guilty on Nov. 4 to one count of DUI and was sentenced to one year of probation, ESPN reports. He was previously cited for driving under the influence in his native Georgia on Feb 12.
