Priya Sachdev Kapur, widow of industrialist Sunjay Kapur, has taken a firm legal stand in the ongoing battle over her late husband’s multimillion-dollar estate. In a fresh development, Priya, along with her minor son, told the Delhi High Court that it does not have the jurisdiction to restrain them from dealing with Sunjay Kapur’s immovable properties located in the United States and the United Kingdom.

The dispute was triggered after Sunjay’s children, Samaira and Kiaan from his earlier marriage with actor Karisma Kapoor, approached the court alleging that Priya had forged his will. They sought an injunction to stop her from alienating or controlling the foreign assets, as the authenticity of the will remains under challenge.
