MAINE, USA — Citing her record expanding abortion rights during her two terms as governor, the national group Reproductive Freedom for All , formerly known as NARAL Pro-Choice America, has endorsed Gov. Janet Mills for her 2026 US Senate bid .
The group’s president and CEO, Mini Timmaraju, described Mills in a Tuesday statement as “the only candidate in this race with an unimpeachable record of expanding access and removing barriers to reproductive care.”
Mills is in a competitive Democratic primary campaign against first-time candidate Graham Platner , an oyster farmer and military veteran. Both aim to square off with incumbent Republican Sen. Susan Collins next November.
