BLOOMINGTON – We are going to find out a lot about the makeup of this Indiana team tonight.

Back at Assembly Hall, a venue that has been friendly for the Hoosiers this season, IU is trying to snap a two-game losing streak that has seen a promising start to the inaugural season under coach Darian DeVries turn somewhat sour. There's plenty of time to right the ship, but it probably has to begin tonight against Penn State at home if it's going to happen at all.

It's not often a team plays a must-win game in early December, but this is one for the Hoosiers. If Indiana is to return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2023, it can ill afford a three-game losing streak with two of the losses to Big Ten opponents picked to finish near the bottom of the conference.
