The Mohave County Board of Supervisors voted to accept $1.1 million in Arizona appropriations funding, which is now expected to support general operations of the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office and provide training to county search and rescue personnel.
That funding comes by way of Arizona SB 1735, the state’s general appropriations bill that was signed by Gov. Hobbs on June 27. This week’s acceptance of that funding by Mohave County officials represents only a small portion of what the county is expected to - and has already received from the state this fiscal year.
