RENO, Nev. (KOLO) -It’s quiet out at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery as it should be.

8600 Veterans are buried here. Many served in major conflicts; all are missed and remembered.

But come Saturday December 13, 2025, there will be plenty of activity as the 11 th annual, now well-established ‘Wreaths Across America" will take place here beginning at 9:00 in the morning.

“The mantra of the “Wreaths Across America” is to remember, honor, and teach,” says Rich Crombie with the Nevada Veterans Coalition.

The Northern Nevada community donates the funds, the wreaths this year, 8600 of them, arrive in time to be placed on the graves.

The event happens rain or shine, and this year it looks like nearly perfect weather to pay respects.
