An edible chocolate-chip cookie dough sold under the Doughy brand has been recalled after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) flagged a potential Salmonella risk.
According to an Enforcement report initiated on Tuesday, Nov. 11 and classified on Dec. 5, the agency has labeled the risk of the recall a Class I, its highest tier, indicating a reasonable probability that eating the product could lead to serious health consequences.
