SAN ANGELO – The Brownwood Lions’ two-game win streak ended Tuesday night with an 80-67 road loss at the hands of the San Angelo Lake View Chiefs.
The Lions (5-5) trailed 20-6 after one period, 40-26 at halftime, and 63-40 heading to the fourth quarter, where Brownwood put 27 points on the board.
Cannon Calvert scored a team-high 19 points for Brownwood followed Durham Brown with 17, Elias Perez with 14, Bennett Windham with nine, Judson Coaslon and Hayden Brumbelow with three each, and Carson Noe with two points.
The Lions will next take part in the Brady tournament Thursday through Saturday.
