The Milwaukee Bucks got on the practice court on Dec. 9 for the first time in about two and a half weeks following a rare set of days off from a schedule that saw them play 25 times in 46 days .

Bucks head coach Doc Rivers felt everyone needed a breath, a reset of sorts, following the team’s loss at Detroit on Dec. 6 .

“ Winning a game would help ,” Rivers said of what can help the team recapture a competitive spirit. “But days like (Tuesday, Dec. 9) help, it really does. Because when you’re getting game after game, every other night you’re playing and it’s almost like you can’t catch yourself. This allows you to. I thought our spirit (at practice) was phenomenal in the gym.”
