It was less than a week ago that Baylor star running back David Gabriel Georges and South Pittsburg's Dayon Cooper were celebrating a state championship win with their respective teams. Now, they have even more to celebrate.

Gabriel Georges brought home the Tennessee Titans Division-II Class AAA Mr. Football Award on Tuesday. It's the second straight season the Quebec native has earned the prestigious honor.

DGG rushed for 1,756 yards this season along with scoring 27 touchdowns. He earned BlueCross Bowl MVP honors in Baylor's 28-24 state championship win last Thursday. Gabriel Georges also becomes the fifth Chattanooga area player to win the Mr. Football Award a second time.
