GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Notre Dame Academy running back Kingston Allen has another honor to add to his resume.

The junior running back was named the Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of Wisconsin after a season where he left everything out on the field.

“There were sometimes I had to dig deep to get some energy or some emotion to get us a win there, get us a drive we need or get us a crucial touchdown. If I can do what I can do, I’ll get on the field no matter what,” said Kingston Allen.

Allen put up big numbers on his way to one of the best seasons in state history.

Setting the record for most rushing yards (3,436) and touchdowns (57) in a single season. Aided by a playoff run that will be remembered for a while with 1,741 yards and 27 touchdowns to help the Tritons make it a
