EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - We have a heads up for Indiana hunters and trappers.
The Department of Natural Resources has closed the bobcat trapping season.
In a press release, the DNR says the state already reached the quota of 250 bobcats.
The season was scheduled to run until January 31st or until the quota was reached.
Any bobcats caught after the closure should be released or turned in to DNR Law Enforcement.
