Twin brothers from Atlantic County were arrested Tuesday after they threatened to kill a Department of Homeland Security official, according to a statement from the federal agency.

In addition to the threat against DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin, the two Absecon men, identified as Emilio Roman-Flores and Ricardo Antonio Roman-Flores, also called to “shoot ICE on sight” on social media, authorities said.

Members of DHS and the Absecon Police Department SWAT team arrested the brothers, who are U.S. citizens, in their hometown Tuesday morning, the agency said.
