The FIFA World Cup is the biggest sporting event in the world, despite the fact that it only takes place once every four years. In 2026, the event will take place in our backyard as the United States, Canada and Mexico will split hosting duties. As a result, all three countries automatically qualified for the tournament, which will be contested from June 11 to July 19.
This is the first year that the field has expanded from 32 teams to 48 teams. This expansion will increase the number of matches while also allowing more teams to qualify for the knockout stages, which could lead to some upsets and Cinderella runs similar to March Madness.
World Cup qualification odds
Thirty-nine of the 45 qualifiers have already qualified. The last six spots will be decided in March through a playoff. Fo
