The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has lifted the provisional suspension on batsman Haider Ali, who had been sidelined from competitive cricket following rape allegations in Manchester in September. The PCB announced on Wednesday that Ali is among nine Pakistani players granted No Objection Certificates (NOCs) to participate in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).

“The players have been given permission to play the event until 23rd January," confirmed a source within the board.

Haider Ali, who has played in 35 T20Is and 3 ODIs for Pakistan, faced rape allegations while touring England with the Pakistan Shaheens squad.
