Virandeep Singh has gained huge spotlight as he has become the first player from an Associate nation to be shortlisted for IPL 2026 auction. At just 26 years old, Virandeep is a talented all-rounder who has been give the base price of INR 30 lakh. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shortlisted 359 player from 1390 players who registered for the auction which will be held on December 16, Tuesday.
The all-rounder from Malaysia will be the most intriguing and cost-effective option for the franchises looking to bring in young talent. Now Virandeep will be competing to occupy one of the 77 spots that are open this also includes 31 positions for overseas players.
