Newcastle United have made the trip to Germany ahead of this evening's Champions League clash against Bayer Leverkusen at the BayArena.
The Magpies are looking to bounce back from their 2-1 defeat in Marseille last time out in Europe and know a win will put them in a strong position to qualify for the Champions League knockout rounds.
They take on a Leverkusen side who have won their last two successive matches in the competition, though, and are very much on the ascendancy under new manager Kasper Hjulmand.
The elephant in the room, of course, is that Newcastle travel to Sunderland on Sunday to take on their fiercest rivals at
