There are long delays on the M6 and M62 following two crashes on the motorways. Two lanes are currently closed on the M6 Northbound from J22 A49 Winwick Link Road (Newton Le Willows) to J23 A580 East Lancashire Road (Haydock).

The M62 Eastbound is also partially blocked and there is slow traffic due to a crash from J11 A574 Birchwood Way (Birchwood) to J12 M60 J12 (Eccles Interchange), according to traffic management system Inrix.
