Christmas is a time for many things and personally I believe that guilt free overeating is definitely one of them. Fast food might not be for everyone but for many it's convenient and cheap and can certainly add a bit of Christmas cheer in December. ‌

In honour of the festive season, many fast food chains have launched their delicious Christmas specials and some of them are absolute crackers. But what is it that makes a menu item 'festive'? ‌

Some fast food companies have simply added an extra item of food associated with Christmas, such as a piece of stuffing into an already established burger, while other places have used traditional Christmas colours and packaging to justify its 'festiveness'. ‌
