Former Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan has once again been moved into solitary confinement at Adiala Jail, with top jail sources confirming to CNN-News18 that he has not been allowed to meet his family or lawyers for the past nine days.
The restrictions, according to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), were imposed shortly after Khan’s social media post in which he allegedly referred to Army Chief General Asim Munir as “mentally ill", and after a media interaction by his sister Dr Uzma Khan following her previous meeting with the former prime minister. PTI claims that all meetings have been suspended since then.
