The run-up to Christmas is expected to bring unsettled conditions as temperatures reach -4C and snow falls as far south as Berkshire. New maps from WXCHARTS, which uses MetDesk data, have revealed a period of wintry weather starting next weekend. On December 20, snow is expected along the west coast of Scotland and North West England.
Surprisingly, it is also due to fall as far south as London, with parts of the south east seeing around 1mm/hr. Temperatures are also set to drop on December 22, getting to as low as -4C in the Scottish Highlands. England will be slightly milder, with temperatures sitting around 2C, but getting to 4 in London and the South East.
Snow is also forecast to hit on the south coast of England on December 21 and London on December 22, maps show.
