30 dogs were found living amongst faeces, rotten food and rat droppings in a Teesside home. Ginette Warne who kept the animals in filthy and hazardous conditions in her mid-terrace Loftus property has now been banned from keeping animals for five years.
RSPCA officers found multiple terriers and lurchers at the Whitby Road home in September 2023. Two dogs were pregnant and eight puppies were later born in the charity’s care. On Tuesday, December 2, the 59-year-old was sentenced for one offence contrary to the Animal Welfare Act 2006, following an investigation and prosecution by the RSPCA.
