Criminals are targeting people as Christmas shopping season hits its peak
People have been warned about a nasty online shopping trick that can see fraudsters rack up thousands of pounds worth of debt in your name "in minutes". To avoid falling foul of this, people "absolutely need to protect" one thing.
Over the Christmas period, Brits are projected to spend a whopping £41.6 billion in total, including gifts, food, travel and socialising, according to Finder research . Of that, people are expected to spend an average of £514 each on Christmas gifts in 2025
