PALMETTO, Fla. (WWSB) - The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help in finding a missing 12-year-old.

Alexia Rivera was reported to have run away from her home in the 5100 block of Granite Dust Place in Palmetto at around 8:15 p.m. Dec. 9.

She was last seen wearing a dark gray jacket and black sweatpants with a multicolored backpack, the sheriff’s office said.

Anyone with information on where she may be is urged to call the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office at 941-747-3011.
