New Delhi: The UIDAI has launched a reformatted Aadhaar app that is offering a significant change in the way identity verification will be executed throughout India. The new option is referred to as Aadhaar Offline Verification and will help put an end to the common system of delivering photocopies of the Aadhaar cards in hotels, events, or in personal places. Under this update, users are able to authenticate themselves without providing any sensitive personal information and without having to use online systems.
