SEGUIN, Texas — A major crash and 18-wheeler fire have shut down all westbound lanes of I-10 near State Highway 46 in Seguin, causing significant traffic delays early Wednesday.

First responders are on scene working to contain the fire, and a hazmat team has been called in to assist due to the nature of the incident. Officials say the westbound side of the interstate will remain closed for several hours as crews work to clear the wreckage and make the area safe.
