SIOUX FALLS — Energy leaders from across South Dakota gathered Wednesday for the Growth Summit 2025, hosted by the Sioux Metro Growth Alliance.

Hundreds packed the Sanford Barn to discuss power generation, renewable energy, and the growing role of artificial intelligence and data centers in the state’s future.

Organizers say the summit brings together business and industry leaders to focus on key growth issues. This year’s spotlight was energy, following past summits on housing and water.
