The Met Office has issued its latest Christmas forecast for Wales, confirming that most of the country is unlikely to see snow on December 25. However, one area has been highlighted as “likely” to receive snowfall.

Forecasters say that only the higher ground of Eryri currently shows a strong chance of snow on Christmas Day. Colder air is expected to move in from the north in the days before Christmas, but conditions elsewhere in Wales are forecast to stay too mild or wet for snow to form.
