EXCLUSIVE : Filmmaking duo Jared and Jerusha Hess, known for their work on Napoleon Dynamite , Nacho Libre , and recent box office smash A Minecraft Movie , are coming aboard as executive producers of Ari Selinger’s feature film debut On The End which stars Tim Blake Nelson and Mireille Enos.

The pair agreed to sign on after seeing the film at the Rome International Film Festival, Georgia, where it won Best Narrative Feature and Best Actress for Enos.

Based on a David vs Goliath story featured in The New York Times , the movie follows Tom, a down-on-his-luck Montauk mechanic who unexpectedly falls for Freckles, a fellow outcast. Tom is blindsided when the town of East Hampton conspires to force him off his beachfront home and auto repair shop.
