After a stroke, Bert did the thing most of us can only hope we’d do: he tried, slowly, awkwardly at first, to become himself again. He worked with the Beausejour Rehabilitation Program, where people with astonishing patience coaxed strength back into a man who’d temporarily lost it.
Now, he’s giving back to the program that supported his recovery, donating $6,000 to help future patients on their own rehabilitation journeys.
