An overhaul at CBS News will likely mean Nate Burleson’s run on their morning program is coming to an end.

According to the New York Post , the network is moving Tony Dokoupil to the evening show in the new year, which in turn will create a shakeup at “CBS Mornings” which may result in co-hosts Burleson and Gayle King being off the show.

Burleson, a former CBS Sports NFL analyst and NFL wide receiver, joined Dokoupil and King as a co-host on “CBS Mornings” in 2021.

According to the report, King’s contract is up in May and she will continue hosting until then. If she is moved off of the show, CBS execs would like to keep King with the network in another role.
