Texas Roadhouse will open its first Burlington County location on Feb. 2, bringing the Texas-themed restaurant chain’s signature steaks and fresh-baked bread to the area.
The restaurant will occupy the former TGI Fridays location at 930 Route 73 North in Marlton. The space has been vacant for nearly two years since the previous restaurant closed.
The new business is also creating jobs .
They’re hiring servers, a restaurant administrator, bussers, hosts, bartenders and to-go servers, according to the website .
The opening comes as Texas Roadhouse has grown to become the nation’s largest sit-down restaurant chain, recently surpassing Olive Garden.
The company operates more than 600 locations across the country, according to its website.
