Bhubaneswar: Some trains have been cancelled and short terminated for safety-related modernisation works in the Khurda Road Division, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) informed on Wednesday.

“It involved non-interlocking (NI) activities at Raj Athgarh station, in connection with the commissioning of the 3rd/4th line between Raj Athgarh and Joranda Road under Khurda Road Division. These measures are essential to ensure the safe and efficient execution of critical infrastructure upgrades aimed at improving reliability and passenger safety,” it further noted.

Trains cancelled

The following passenger trains will remain cancelled on specified dates in December: • 68419 Bhubaneswar–Palasa MEMU will remain cancelled on December 9th, 11th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 18th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 25th, 28th, 29th
