The end-of-the-year holiday season has started, and in the midst of defrosting turkeys, dinner menus, shopping lists and the hustle and bustle, people are also pausing to reflect on the last year and feelings of gratitude and appreciation.

Earlier this month, we asked USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin readers all over the state to share what they’re thankful for this holiday season. While we didn't receive as many submissions this year as we have years prior, we still wanted to highlight the stories we did collect.
