A 31-year-old man involved in a Lancaster County shooting on Tuesday was later found dead in a home , but not from gunshot wounds, the coroner’s office said Wednesday.

Columbia resident Christopher Colon Martinez’s cause and manner of death are pending toxicology testing after a Wednesday morning autopsy. The autopsy did not find anything suspicious, the coroner said.

Police said Martinez was involved in a shooting around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, which damaged several houses and a car on the 200 block of Walnut Street. The coroner’s office said Martinez lived in a home on that street and block. Police did not explicitly say whether Martinez was the person who fired the shots.
