A woman has shared her frustration over the rise of AI as she became suspicious over wrapping paper while Christmas shopping .
Piper Smythe, 23, is from Springfield, Massachusetts, and says she's noticed a major rise in the use of AI , both online and in real life—especially as the festive season approaches.
"I feel like this is the first Christmas I’ve seen where this AI influence is especially prevalent," she told Newsweek . "It’s especially disheartening for me because so much of the fun of gift shopping is finding beautiful items that were clearly designed by someone passionate about design.
