Norwegian Gem is a Jewel-class ship operated by Norwegian Cruise Line . The ship was built in 2007 and is one of four Jewel-class sisters (along with Norwegian Jewel, Norwegian Jade, and Norwegian Pearl), a family of mid-size vessels that helped define NCL’s Freestyle Cruising experience with plenty of dining, bars, lounges, and outdoor space in a more intimate package than the line’s newest mega-ships.
