The city of Greenville’s wheelsports park has entered the final stages of the design process.

The most recent conceptual designs for the park were presented during a public meeting held Dec. 9. Community members had the opportunity to review and provide feedback on the park’s design, specifically the concrete skatepark, asphalt pump track and paved bicycle playground.

A multiphase design process has been underway since June to plan the wheelsports park. The park will be located on approximately 10 acres of land at 425 Airport Road, adjacent to the Greenville Downtown Airport. The project’s design team has used public input to design the wheelsports park.
