Australia's new social media ban for children under the age of 16 targets 10 social media companies, including Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, X, Snapchat and Reddit. Social media companies deemed negligent in enforcing the social media ban will be subjected to a $32.9 million fine.
