NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — A North Charleston man was arrested after the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office accused him of possession of child sexual abuse materials.

Roger Baxter Dobbins, 79, is charged with one count of sexual exploitation of a minor in the second degree, according to spokesperson Lexi Douglas.

Members of the South Carolina Internet Crimes against Children received a CyberTip that an online application had transmitted a file that contained a depiction of child sexual exploitation on Sept. 23. Douglas said the file depicted a female child between 10-12 years old.

Deputies conducted a search warrant at his Park Circle house Tuesday and arrested Dobbins.

He was booked into the Charleston County Jail where he was released on a $50,000 bond.
