TUPELO, Miss. — A Tupelo man has been arrested and charged with cyberstalking, kidnapping and sexual battery following an investigation that began with threats made by text message in November, according to the Tupelo Police Department.

On Nov. 16, 2025, a cyberstalking report was filed after a victim told police a suspect had sent text messages to family members threatening to kidnap and kill the victim following a recent domestic disturbance.

On Nov. 18, officers responded to the area of South Gloster Street for a reported missing person. When they arrived, they were told that a family member of the original victim was missing.
