FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger announced a "full scale investigation" Tuesday after the revelation a day prior that Fulton County would conduct a recount in last Tuesday's runoff elections because a poll worker had allegedly scanned ballots for family members who weren't there.
Monday night, officials said the recount had been completed. The Board of Registration & Elections certified the results from the Dec. 2 runoff election. Fulton County Board of Elections Chairwoman, Sherri Allen, said there was a discrepancy in a couple of the races reported on Tuesday night, prompting the county to launch a full recount of all votes cast in the runoff.
