A first look has been revealed for Natalie Portman and Jenna Ortega 's upcoming thriller The Gallerist . Directed by Cathy Yan and described by The LA Times as an " art-world satire, " the Black Swan and Wednesday stars' new movie is about " A desperate gallerist [who] conspires to sell a dead body at Art Basel Miami ," per the Sundance Film Festival, where the movie will premiere next year.

The 2026 Sundance Film Festival will be held from January 22 to February 1, 2026. The Gallerist is written by James Pedersen and produced by Portman, Ash Sarohia, Sophie Mas, Jonathan King, Tom McCarthy, and Rae Baron. Its cast also includes Sterling K. Brown, Zach Galifianakis, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, Daniel Brühl, Charli XCX, and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
