DeKalb County firefighters rescue tiny, furry resident from storm drain

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — DeKalb County firefighters rescued a “purfectly” cute animal from a storm drain recently.

Firefighters used “careful coordination and specialized tools” to bring a small cat to safety, the DeKalb County Fire Rescue Department said in a Facebook post.

“The successful rescue highlights our team’s commitment to protecting every member of the community, big and small,” the department said.
