50 Cent says he almost had Sean "Diddy" Combs' children appear in his popular docuseries about the mogul's life and legal issues.

In a new cover story Us Weekly published on Tuesday, December 9, the rapper-filmmaker was asked if he had any contact with the imprisoned artist during the making of Sean Combs: The Reckoning . Fif said he hadn't spoken to him since his case began last year. Although Combs and his team are totally against the documentary, Fif said he did speak to Combs' sons about possibly appearing the series.

"I had communications with his son," Fif explained.

"There was a point when they were interested in being a part of the doc because they wanted to show their perspective," he continued. "They were concerned about how [things] would be portrayed."
